CSI: Miami follows a team of forensic investigators in South Florida.
Horatio Caine, a former homicide detective, he's got a dangerous edge and a "blind allegiance to justice."
He heads a group of investigators who work crimes amid the steamy, tropical surroundings and cultural crossroads of Miami.
His team includes Calleigh Dusquene, a bilingual Southern beauty with a specialty in ballistics. Also know as the bullet
girl.
Tim Speedle was a young, well-educated criminalist who did his job in honor of his high school friend, who died two years
after he was paralyzed in a snowmobile accident. He died on duty when he was shot in a jewelry store while investigating a
murder.
Eric Delko, a funny and lovable character, now working as a CSI an underwater recovery expert who knows all the twists
and turns of the Florida waterways.
Ryan Wolfe is the newest member of the team. He is young and often thinks outside the box to help solve cases.
Alexx Woods, the no-nonsense, know-it-all coroner, that has earned her the nickname "knowologist, and she often challenges
the other CSIs. She is known to talk to the victims.
Together, these investigators collect and analyze the evidence to solve the crimes and to vindicate those who often cannot
speak for themselves -- the victims.
